An HS code is a customs classification code used for declarations, tariffs and statistics. Different jurisdictions may extend the same prefix differently, so always verify the final full code that applies to your product.
Why can some results not be declared directly?
Results marked as intermediate categories are not final leaf codes yet. You still need to choose a more specific declarable code, and the system highlights direct declarable leaf codes whenever possible.
Can I rely on the suggested code without checking it?
