Why weight alone is not enough

DHL domestic Germany pricing is not based on actual weight alone. Even if the parcel stays under 2 kg, it usually cannot remain in the 2 kg tier once the size exceeds 60 x 30 x 15 cm.

Before buying the label, check dimensions, girth, and oversize risk together to avoid rejection or surcharge later.

What the SendLabel 3D packing assistant does

The 3D packing assistant evaluates the entered size and weight, recommends a more suitable tier, and flags parcels that move outside the standard supported range.

If the system upgrades you from 2 kg to 5 kg or above, the trigger is usually the size rule rather than the actual weight.

What to do after buying the label

After printing the label, open the order page or the DHL drop-off finder to check nearby Paketshops and Packstations based on the sender postal code.

Before leaving, confirm the label is attached securely and that the final parcel still matches the expected dimensions and weight.
