What information should be complete
International parcels usually need an item description, quantity, declared value, currency, country of origin and an applicable HS code. Avoid vague words such as gift, sample or accessories on their own.
If the parcel contains multiple products, enter them as separate rows instead of merging everything into one customs line.
Why the description must match the HS code
A code without a meaningful description, or a detailed description paired with a mismatching code, increases customs clearance risk.
Before submission, check that the description, quantity, value and code all point to the same type of goods, and make sure the value matches your transaction documents.
What SendLabel helps with
The system helps you search HS codes, validates international customs fields and blocks intermediate non-declarable codes.
However, the system does not replace your legal responsibility. The final declaration content remains the customer’s duty to confirm.
